Early 60's 122 Steadybearing upgrade

Has anyone ever updated the 65 and earlier center/steady bearing from the 65 to the newer version? Is it much of a job ?

    Early 60's 122 Steadybearing upgrade

    You mean the driveshaft center bearing?

    I think it would be possible, but I'm not sure of the benefit. Welding nuts for the support bracket would be necessary I think.
