Wiring issue (repost)

On the 86 245 Dl there is only a blue wire on the ignition side of the coil. The red/white tach lead is on the other. I would leave the white wire (possible O2 sensor or distributor lead) off until last and see what is missing. The Haynes manual gives a good schematic but I do not have it with me. I would suggest not cutting anything else loose under the hood, prefering to remove the intake manifold and pulling the harness through then making up a new duplicate unit. I also do not put the wiring through the manifold like the dolts that wired it at the factory.
