please help- I am stuck in Tennessee with malfuntioning brakes.
I completely lose brake pressure when i am on the hiway or when I do not use the brake for a while. There is no detectable leak in the brake lines and i just had the master cylindar replaced (I thought a bad master cylindar was causing the problem). Does anyone know why I a losing brake pressure?
If anyone has any ideas, please respond or call (512)680-8973.

thank you to those who responded- it turned ou that the heat shield was broken and the turbo had been boiling away the brake fluid.

If you can 'pump' the brake pedal and get brakes it is either air in the line, a failed master cylinder, or a leaking wheel cylinder. You can drive it that way and get it home. The E-brake is functional on these as well.

Could also be warped disks pushing the pistons back in their cylinders.
I had that problem with a 122 about 30 years ago in East Carolina.
Actually the disks were true but the hubs they were mounted on were not.
