If you still have your original intake manifold gasket, it is hard and brittle by now. On my '91, the leaking manifold gaskets was much more noticable when cold. On my '90, it only idled rough when about half-warmed-up. Go figure.

Try getting a quarter turn on each of the nuts that hold the manifold in place. If the symptom improves, that is the problem. Replacement is a cheap easy DIY job.
