I rent a house without a garage, and in the winter the driveway gets dumped on with snow from the surrounding roofs... so I'm looking for a space where I can store my 240 and occasionally go to work on the car over the winter. Doesn't necessarily need to be heated, but electricity is necessary. And it needs to have enough room to maneuver around the car when doing suspension and brake work. That eliminates most of the garages for rent that I've seen.

Anyone know of a place? Anyone in a similar situation and want to share a space? Anyone come up with a good solution to this dilemna? I'd like to hear about it.

Hello,

I live near the Albany area, and I do know of some storage space that you may want to look into. It's at the German Auto Haus dealership in Burnt Hills, on Route 50- from what I understand there is a warehouse on the premises where private owners can store their cars. I have a friend who stores her two BMW Z3s at the Auto Haus during the winter. I don't have the phone number off-hand but it's well worth a look. I hope this helps.
