B230K need longer cranking on hot sunny day... 200

If it is ignition related, I'd suspect the crank position sensor. Has it ever been replaced? Does the engine also cut out intermittently when hot? If so, it is an indication of a failing CPS.

If it is fuel related, you could have a carb problem. The plastic floats could be leaking (mine were) and/or the main needle valve may be worn (mine was). Before I got my carb rebuilt, I had a hard time starting the engine when it was semi-warm.

Erling.
