Outside temp gauge illumination? 900

I had the exact same problem. The BULB that goes into the temp gauge is completely different from all the other bulbs in the dash so You really do need to get the exact same bulbs if you wait it to be stock. I used a common dash bulb pirated from another JY volvo and modified the mounting so it works in the temp gauge.
If you want to get a new bulb from the dealer the part number is:
