CONVERTING A NON-TURBO TO A TURBO 900 1993

I suspect that the most cost-effective approach would be to sell your wagon and use the cash to buy a factory-built turbo wagon.

Next best would be to pick up a complete turbo donor car-- ideally a running car that was hit from behind-- and move everything over. Different rads, different fuel pumps, different ignition systems, different compression ratios-- the list goes on...

There have been descriptions of conversions of non-turbo to turbo using the existing motor, but at 300K miles I am doubtful that it is the best approach. Custom fabrication typically brings surprises, which usually cost money.

Good luck!
