Hi, I just replaced my dr. side mirror on my '93 945t, Total cost was $73 inc. shipping from a place called carpartswholsale on Ebay. It's a power/heated unit that is an adequate match to the factory unit. No painting was required as my car has black mirrors but I suppose it could be painted. (my solution would also be to just replace both in black, or repaint both black with the same paint) Fairly easy to install, The only minor gripe I might have is that the wires on the replacement were a little shorter than the factory unit and I had to route them a little differently. You may want to hit the mounting screws on the existing mirror with some PB blaster now, the front screw didnt want to come out on mine and I wound up shearing it off. the screw toward the front that you can see without removing the interior trim piece is more exposed to the elements and, I guess, the one that will most likley give you trouble.
