Rears compared to fronts? Piece of cake, walk in the park, etc. Especially if you have a Haynes of a Bentley or a Green Book to check things out in advance.
Rears do much less of the braking work than the fronts, and therefore IMHO are much less demanding.
I have run 240s since 1977, used AutoZone El Cheapo pads. They come (at least when I bought them) with a lifetime guarantee. With 2 or 3 240s to run, and the turnover rate in AutoZone emloyees, I have not bought a set in years. Only challenge is keeping the receipts from ink fade.
Also, I don't do a lot of fast hard driving, and I have never changed a rotor.
Brembos have a good rep, and if I do need a new rotor or two, I will choose them. For now, keep the $$$ in the cookie jar for the TABs or IPD sways.
Good Luck,
Bob
