Will It Fit???? 1800

I am pretty sure the answer is yes, but I have never owned
an 1800 so I didn't want to give out the wrong info.

I am selling this on ebay and someone
asked if it would fit a 1965 1800S.

Can someone tell me for sure?
I don't want to mislead anyone!

Thanks all!

cheers,

Karl

Thank You for the help!!!! 1800

Thanks for the help guys!

I updated the auction to say that it will not
fit the 1800's. I know it fit the 122 and it
sounds like it fits a 140 as well.

Appreciate the help. :o)

cheers,

Karl

That looks exactly like my 68 142's shift knob. Only way, WAY nicer.

The early 1800s had a small round shift knob and a different shifter than
the later cars. It MIGHT have had the same threads on the short lever
but I kinda doubt it.

Karl,

No, I don't think it will fit an 1800S. The short shifter on those has a spring that comes up under the knob (you lift the lever to go into reverse), and the threaded part is a lot larger in diameter than on a long Amazon lever.

The style is also quite different, if that matters.
