To buy '71 142S or not??? 140-160

Great news from the boss.
Good news on the stick shift.
RE: OD
It's a whole gearbox,be sure to get the short shaft {front drive shaft}.
And the tail support bracket.
The west coast market does seem to be 250-350 for a good known
M-41 unit.Nice for traveling but not necessary for a town car,
or desirable for a racer with alot of HP.
Mods;
An IPD front sway bar and good shocks will really 'tack' it down.
700 alloys fit well,and the late 780 multi x are wider.
Interior is pretty much DIY father/son.
Not too much after market stuff for the most overlooked,
and under appreciated of the classic Volvo's.
