Take another look at the trans fluid to see if it could be contaminated with engine coolant from a leaking trans oil cooler inside the radiator.The fluid will be more pink than red.also check coolant tank for oil.In any case,replace trans with used,generally low failure rate,much less cost than rebuild.Bill
