Hello, The top of the solonoid is a sealed plastic to cover the coils from moisture, however through time heat and weather it cracks. You might be able to fix the wire, but the connection is on the right side of trans. where the tailshaft housing and trans case meet. If you can solder the wire back on then use a grey silicone gasket sealant to reseal top of the solonoid. If you can't get a used solonoid and reseal where it is cracked before installing. Pauli
