i just finished a head gasket last weekend on a 92.
jorrell is quite right.
in my order of likelihood i would: imo #'s 1 or 1A are the culprits
1. suspect the shop who did the job did NOT check the head for warp. anything more than .002" can give u trouble if you do not re face
1A. the head surface and or block surface was poorly cleaned of old gasket and or residue
2. the block surface as above......i highly doubt that is the problem as it is iron and not aluminum.
3. wrong torque sequence or insufficent torque pressure
4.damage to the head gasket when head place on top not carefully
5. head bolts stretched or bad...doubtful
