Does anyone know where I can find the weather striping for the rear windows ...and for that matter the front doors on my '72 142?

On a 240 in the JY,the aftermarket door seals I
tried were too fat and the doors would not close.

Strange. I replaced all my door/window seals on my '74 from a later 240 without any problems. No more leaks after that. Sure, the door were slightly harder to close, but no other problems.

The interior styling changed in 73 and looks the same as the 240, CarDog's cars are all 72 or earlier, that's probably why the rubbers don't fit his but it does fit your '74. Also the last year manufactured 140 was part 240 part 140 so not the best to use it as a reference for all 140 models.

Best bet for those hard to find parts is www.scandcar.com which is based in Europe (Netherlands/Denmark). Surface mail is half the price but takes 2 to 3 times longer, but small parcels sent by surface mail sometimes actually arrive via air mail if the postal services company has space available.

It is the rear pop out window rubber I need the most, but would like to do it all.

The AFTERMARKET door seals I got form IPD were fat,
and the doors would not shut.
I did use some from an 86-244 and they were fine.

Check with SRC he has some 142 stuff.

I would think the only rubber that won't fit would be for the front door windows if the car is a pre-74.
