Drive down the road a few miles or so,then pull over and pop the hood. Lay your hand on the filter box-if it's hot to the touch then your pulling hot air-if it's cool-your A OK. The air box is held in with little rubber gromets with little prongs going through them-you can just pull and tug gently and it will work free.
