Just took a prospective 780 to a dealer inspection... opinions? 700

Seems like a lot of dough to me, but if a 780 is what your heart is after, it's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it.

780 specific bits are hard to find, expensive, or both.

If it helps as a benchmark, remember that a mint condition, late model 740 can be be had for around $2,000.
