Cone Bushings - another important lesson to avoid! 900

The first bushings I did, I failed to understand how important it is to LOAD THE BUSHING with weight on the car.

If you torque the bushing with the car in the air they self-destruct in a matter of weeks. They need the weight of the car to seat properly.

You have to drop the car onto the wheels.....rock it back and forth a FEW times.....to seat the bushing in the arm.....then torque it to spec's.

The reward is worth the wait!
