Yup, unlike Bosch the Regina has nvram and eeprom. Volvo offers a "special tool" to reload it too, but I believe all Regina boxes are the same with the exception of tweaks done to the eeprom you can get from your well-equipped volvo dealership repair facility. Basically, any one from the boneyard will make it run again.

New ANSWERED Regina ECU issues, can't clear codes, other problems too (after exhaust shop welded on the car). Need compatibility info for replacement. [700][1992]
