No-start after installing new plugs, & cap..could it be the ECU? 200 1993

Trying to get "el Avispon Verde" up to snuff to make the trip from Texas to Conn again. He's a 93 245. LH 2.4 injection system.
today I installed new Bosch platinum plugs (.30 gap) a new Bosch cap and a good used rotor. It ran for a bit, then died. Started up, ran very ragged then died for good. Cannot start up at all. Cranks like a demon, though. On board code reads 1 1 1. Spark present at both coil wire and at spark plug (though weak=yellow). took apart fuel rail, and cranked out a bunch of gasoline. Fuses are all OK,even the big ones by the battery. Replaced the fuel pump relay, tried a different coil, made sure the wires are on the cap correctly for the 1 3 4 2 firing order (clockwise).
I have removed the throttle body for cleaning.
I'm suspecting an ECU problem...are there any issues with 1993 ECU's?
thanks for any help.

I always look for things I could have damaged/disturbed while working on other items under the hood. If you think you have an ignition issue look at these items: How old is the RPM sensor? They will fail with a no start condition and can be checked with the OBD system. The power stage on the driver fender can fail and cause ignition issues too. I have not had a bad one so I can't describe any conditions. I had some Bosch Plat. plugs and they made the car run poorly and I changed back to the NGK's. How old are the ignition wires? Check all your ground wires and battery connections. If you disconected the battery while working on the car, there may be an issue there. Check the hose from the amm to throttle body for any holes. Good luck.

Had a no start myself thinking my replacement fuel relay was good, found another in the trunk and she started hope it is that easy. Plugs fouled out?

Three thoughts:

1: Your used rotor has an open resistor.
2: Timing belt slipped and slipped again.
3: Your AMM died. Try unplugging it and see if it runs better as a result. If yes, you found the problem.

thanks,Jorrel:
I'll check these 3 things today.
I've used the original rotor again to no avail.
I just replaced the Timing belt last year.
don't remember age of AMM, but it is not the original.
Let's hope it is something simple...it should be.
At least I'm glad the 245 died at home, not on the road up to the NE.

Another thanks Jorrel.

Raidman I am having the same issues, and have thus far done everything you have on a similar no start with my sister's 89 240 GL today.
Please keep us posted as I am working in tandem with you, albeit somewhat vicariously.

Peace,

Gemfire
