How do I remove FRONT headrests? 200 1989

Not needed to remove cover or seat, pull the hdrst up as far as it will go. Just about where the seam is on the upper back of the seat, about six to eight inches down, press on the vinyl and you will feel the tab. You have to press pretty far but the upholstery wont get damaged. I usually make a fist under the hdrst on one side of the hdrst and it will pop out. Have done this numerous times on 2 7 and 940's. The later model 940 rests will go on the 240 seatbacks nicely. Tom 27940aholic
