ANSWER Supplimental cooling fan 200

I found my fan on ebay and it came with two brackets and the fan. Got the instructions from the bricksters. Picked up a less than $5 40 amp relay and a sealed fuse holder with a 30 amp blade fuse. Then connected the coil part of the relay to the compressor green wire. Hooked a 14 gauge wire with the fuse in line directly to the battery and the fan wire to the other side. Used a ground over ty the lights for the gnd wire. The fan will run anytime the compressor is engaged. You will notice a big difference at idle and slow speeds with AC performance at temps over 90. I would suggest hitting junkyards and watching ebay, the 240 fan is larger than most fans and mounting is easy.

Of course found two fans in junk yards the week after I purchased the ebay one. Grabbed the center brace off a 92 so did not have to drill any holes. The fan mounts off center to the left hand side of the evaporator. If you get the fan off a later model I think that is the best solution.

If you have not done the Reflectix to the roof of your wagon, it will help a lot with keeping the heat out. There is just an air space between you and the sheet metal.

You will really like the results on those Florida double 90 days of 90+ on both the humidity and the temp.

Regards,

PT
