Loose Belts? 200 1986

"At some point, I decided to step on the gas a bit when I was doing about 30mph to see what type of acceleration our brick had."
• Besides Evan's tip, it could also be slipping (loose/wet/oily) alternator belts—causing the alternator to stop momentarily (see below).

"The result of this experiment was getting to see my dash light up all the lower warning lights."
• When the alternator stops (for any reason), the electrical conditions are the same as when the Key is first turned on—all the lights come on.
