YES. I replaced mine and it all but eliminated a high speed shimmy. I had replaced everything else but the radial arms and still need to do the rear radial arms, but don't have a press.
I found that they "passed" a crowbar test, but when I took them apart, found the ridges on the cone had disentigrated and bonded to the metal. Great time for a dremel (lightly) and the new ones are much tighter. I went with rubber to avoid the harsh transfer from the poly. At 256K, I don't expect to need to replace them... unless something great or awful happens.

PS I had my wheels balanced 3 times also. If you're going to get it aligned, do all the replacing you can before doing it. The radial arms could change the camber, or so I've read.
