If there is a shop that repairs electric appliances along your route, that
would be a good place to start. For those parts, voltage is immaterial and
fit is pretty much all that matters.
In my experience the bearings tend to be gummed up more than worn, and lacquer
thinner is pretty good at cleaning them. Be SURE you don't use any kind of
"penetrating oil" because when the solvent is gone, most of what is left becomes
gummy and will put you back where you are now. Sewing machine oil, 3-in-1 and
such are pretty good.
