Wiper/washer relays live in a cavity just below where driver's left foot rests. Accessible by pulling back the carpeting a bit, then a flat steel cover plate maybe 5"x7" or therabouts.
If car hit bottom when going over the bump, maybe it could have hit right around that spot, just behind the wheelwell. Maybe got jostled or damaged? Look for scrape mark or denting on the underside there.
Check out the motor and tranny mounts also - there are three all together. Quick for a shop to check using a lift. They sometimes break when the car smacks something. I learned that one the hard way...
This might serve as a life lesson for your daughter. There are reasons why people over the age of 30 slow down for speed bumps.
