Mystery head light Problem 200 1985

Lots of these cars have had the "bulb out" bulb removed or otherwise disabled due to too many false alarms.

Anyway, as suggested by others, check for a bad bulb first.
The '85 takes the four large headlight bulbs, about 4"x6".
You can swap in any three-prong bulb from another location in your car to see if the bulb comes to life.

Our '83 (r.i.p.) had the same headlight setup. One bulb connector eventually went bad and I had to jump a lead directly to the bulb's terminal blade. You can test for this if you have a meter.
