940T Gasoline Smell 900

Gentlemen:
I own a 1993 940 Turbo 170K which has developed a rather obnoxious gasoline smell in the past few days. It is strong enough that you can smell it from several feet away, and it is clearly coming from the engine bay and what seems like on the driver's side. I have checked under the car and taken a look under the hood, but I don't see anything leaking. Any hints as to what this might be? Thanks, -Scott

Check all your vacuum lines, especially the ones to the Charcoal canister for the evaporative emissions system.
If that's OK, check the fuel tank vent hoses and fill hose through the inspection cover in the trunk. Chances are the roughly 1" diameter hose back there has split. Look in the FAQs, quite a bit on the subject.
