I replaced mine, then 2 years later it failed AGAIN!!! I then chose to bypass (wish I did it in the first place). I like seeing what my engine temp REALLY is, not what some computer chip THINKS I want to see. Boy what a dumb idea. The IDP kit is super easy, but 5 more minutes of work and you can fit your own wire and save a few $$$.
