Use the SEARCH at the top of the screen. Lots of posts about Oil Pan Replacement (NMI) 200 1989

Hello,

May I suggest having a pro check the actual oil pressure in the block. The flicker could be the oil pressure sending unit or some other strange issue. Worth having checked before you spend all that time tearing in there. Had my oil light pop on and stay on all of a sudden after putting my 86 back on the road. Turned out to be of all things the oil filter causing the issue. Had 35 psi after it warmed up. I was thinking oil pump until the gauge was hooked up an we saw the actual pressure reading.

Art has a page on changing the seal and removing the pump I think by the way. Check Cleanflametrap if you get a chance.

Regards,

Paul
