So here is what I came up with to attach a second stock front sway bar to my 67 220, as always nothing goes as planned.
For starters there isn't enough room between the bottom of the crossmember and the middle section of the existing bar to get the top bolt through to attach the two blocks I made for the front sections. I think if I drill out the center of the blocks for the bolt and cut the top of the blocks off just above the top sway bar hole it will bolt up.
The blocks on the ends of the bar attach but the clearance with the front tires is close to the ends of the bolts. This I can fix with a counter sunk hex head bolt, with a flush outer side there should be no clearance issues. steering rod and tie rod junctions are fine.
I did take it out for a spin with just the two end blocks bolted up and what a big change, way less body roll. Once I get the kinks worked out I think this will be perfect for daily driving, it felt like driving a whole new car. Almost as nice as my 142 with a front IPD sway bar. Once I get everything right i'll post some more pic's of the fix and installed.
