time for new exhaust 140-160

man... for a stock engine, I wouldn't do anything fancy...

Last exhaust I bought was for my 145... basically 2" pipe from the dual downpipe stock manifold, an off the shelf free flow muffler... all bought at the local muffler shop. Installed for about $160. I sounds nice, it's solid... hell, I could call it custom even. If I'd have gone for stock 1.75", and a standard muffler, I'd have been out the door for closer to $100 even.

It's routed correctly and ain't going anywhere soon. Some of them guys still know what they are doing.

I have yet to understand why anyone would buy a pre-fab exhaust system for any Volvo older than 1975.

Just my opinion there...
