When I first started working on Volvos; my father had removed a seized blower motor in his '90 745Ti, he tried putting it back in and it ran with a horrible noise. So the car sat for over a year until I took a look at it. He mounted the bracket 120 deg. out and had the pos and neg. wires backwards. I had it fixed in under an hour. Did I tell you that I'm a contoursionist (sp)? Maybe I will join the Cirque de Solei (sp?) I wonder if taking the passenger front seat out and laying on your back would be the easiest.
My '88 244GL blower motor is about due. How 'bout you do my 240 and I will do 2 of your 740's. I bet I would still be done sooner.
Tip: Keep the vents under the windsheild clean. That crap goes down in and clogs the drains eventually ending up in the blower housing jamming the blower motor and causing premature failure.
