Picture 1 is the "Service socket' 200 1984

If you ever want to operate the starter from under the hood, the Service Socket connects to Starter terminal 50. (Via the Neutral Safety Switch if car has Auto Transmission.) A jumper wire from Battery + to the Service socket will energize the starter.

The red wire in pic #2 looks like someone's add-on.

The Blue socket wires are for "Base Idle" speed and FI adjustments. See the relevant sections in the Bentley manual.
