How To Remove M46 Transmission Input Shaft Seal? 200 1985

From the front side of the bell housing, remove the snap ring from the throw out bearing sleeve, tap the sleeve with a rubber mallet or block of wood, and the sleeve will push the seal out easily without damage to the housing or sleeve. Then you reinstaall the sleeve and tap in a new seal.
