Hi Jerry & all:
I used one of these units on my PV444 without the flange and it bolted up perfectly! Mine came with a new gasket and easy to follow instructions. I think the mounting hole pattern is the same on 122s, I have not measured it, but it certainly appears to be the same. Perhaps someone else can chime in, but I don't think you need anything that does not come with the sender itself.
