does it squeek all the time or only when the brake is applied???

does it squeek all the time...

the dust shields may be rubbing against the rotors, or a rock could be caught between the dust shield and the rotor (this happened to a friend shortly after driving on a dirt road)...the next day, he had a constant squeek.

we removed the suspect wheel (if it happens at low speed...just have some one walk beside the car...front or rear ...left or right...)

found a small rock jammed between the dust shield and rotor.


If only when the brakes applied...
again...(if it happens at low speed...just have some one walk beside the car...front or rear ...left or right...)

if its the rear, get your local volvo stealership to fix it...you did pay...right
if its the front...learn how to change the brakes yourself...and remember, if it squeeks after your done... you still did the job just as good as a pricey qualified volvo mechanic.
