They are a very nice vehicle, but as you already have guessed, parts can be very hard to come by. The sunroof on mine leaked due to rust which developed around the perimeter of the trim. I could not find a replacement locally, and no one wanted to ship glass. I went to the dealership to order a component for the anti-theft system, the parts guy told me that Volvo never made a 780. Good luck!
