front strut mount bushing - where to get oem 700 1990

Hey Mathew,

For strut mounts, the consensus around here is that the OE Volvo mounts hold up a lot better than the aftermarket ones. FCP has a good return policy if you want to send them back. The aftermarket crank dampers may not last as long, but are a whole lot easier to change than the strut mounts. The crank hold tool makes it really easy, but most of the places seem to be out of them. These are a couple of the things that are best to OE with. You also want OE for other suspension parts as well. I think the Scan-Tech parts are made in more than one country. I think that Scan-Tech farms out production to many companies. Some of there stuff is okay. I usually go with OE parts or known good aftermarket parts on important or hard to change stuff. With Tasca Volvo, many OE parts cost about the same as aftermarket.

Regards, Jon
