740 rebuilding project 700

Do you have any maintenance records on the car? Because it would be nice to know when the timing belt was changed, if the fuel pump was changed, brakes, etc. before your start ordering all this stuff. If you don't have any maintenace records, you probably need to replace all the previously mentioned stuff, because the previous owner didn't care enough about the car to keep reciepts.

Trust me on this one, I've had to replace EVERYTHING on my car with one minor exception (e-brake brake shoes, yeah!). I haven't done the fuel pump yet, not looking forward to that one.
