I'd first double check all the work you did.. make sure everything is tight and seated properly.

Then take the cheap rotors back, as I expect you might have got a pre-warped one. You could take that to a brake shop to confirm... unless you happen to have a dial indicator handy and can check that yourself.

I really doubt your pads or the piston issue are the problem..
