Lowering by Cutting Springs 200

Greg,

I'm all for lowering a 24x to improve looks and handling. The price difference between hacking the springs and replacing them is about $250. Is a $250 savings worth it to make a very safe car unsafe, or are you willing to put the lives of yourself, your loved ones, and other motorists at risk for a few hundred bucks?

Come on, get real! If you want to lower your car, spend the bucks to do it right, don't be stupid! (Sorry for my bluntness, but if you had seen the resulting wreck that was caused by chopped springs on a Honda, you'd see it my way. Three teens were killed, the driver is now a quadriplegic!)That accident scene still haunts me eight years later.

Think about it....
