FUEL PUMP, IT'S RELAY, AND WIRING (edited reply ay 8:10am EST) 200 1983

"The relay is clicking and routing power when I position the key to on. It get power to #86 and #30 with key in the on position, and send power to #87"
• From 87 the Y/R wire goes thru a 3-pin connector under the glove box, then to the input (left side) of fuse 5.

"The wires leading to the left side of the #5 fuse are 2 Yellow and Red wires."
• Right—one Y/R is from relay 87 (via the connector mentioned above). The other Y/R goes off to the Main pump (via a connector under the back seat, which must be OK if the pump runs when 12V is jumpered to fuse 5). The other Y/R feeds the fuse.

"A third smaller gauge Red and Yellow wire runs out the right side of the fuse, I believe to the relay."
• That one goes to power the Tank pump.

"The #5 (tank pump) fuse gets no power. Ever."
• Good clue. I'd start by finding that 3-pin connector under the glove box that's between relay 87 and fuse 5. Maybe just reseating it will clear some corrosion due to water leakage.

[EDIT: I think that 3-pin plug is white plastic and flat.]
