Thrice I had the misfortune of using a spin flange cat with fixed flange header pipe.Every time the flared end of cat which holds the spin flange broke within a period of 5-6 months. Advance auto respects its warranty :)but I got tired. Every time I used triangular gasket. I think this combination is doomed to fail however I read a mail here where donut gasket was used and it lasted but I will not experiment.
