Sean,

First off, are you using a factory style manifold to head pipe gasket which is a stack of metal plates, or one of the worthless aftermarket fiber based gaskets? If you are using aftermarket fiber gasket, they might last for a week. If you use Volvo metal plate gaskets, they will last forever, assuming you didn't over tighten the flange bolts which will cause the head pipe flange to warp.
