I had this exact same problem a couple of months ago. SKF bearings. Had a bearing that was one number size smaller than what the old bearing (or label on the box) said it should be. Compare the bearing number from the old one with the new one and make sure the new one is correct. If not you will be the second in a short time to have the wrong bearing boxed in what should be the correct box. BTW, the race (cup) was correct. It was only the bearing that was the wrong part.
