I just bought a package of spray cans of the body paint and clear coat from Tasca - just gave them my paint code - like $15. I'd sand up the rust lightly, spray rust inhibitor from an autoparts store, then spray paint, then spray clear coat. At least that's what I plan to do with my minor rust issues.
