940 Timing Belt Tensioner 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

May this find you well. If you have a genuine Volvo timing belt tensioner (Part #463633), that you bought directly from a Volvo dealer, can you tell me:
(a) the country of origin (where it was made), which should be stamped into the metal bracket, that holds the roller?
(b) whether the word "Volvo" is also stamped into the metal, anywhere on the part?
(c) whether a part number is stamped into the metal, and if so, what is the part number?
(d) whether the maker's name or or similar marking(s) appear?

I am not now interested in markings on aftermarket items, just the markings on the genuine Volvo item.

Thanks for your help!!

Yours faithfully,

Spook

no dtat but htoughts 900

I don't have a 940 and cannot read your fine print, I am sorry, but items like that are very often sourced from several suppliers, operating in multiple countries. And different year by year. I know Volvo has built cars in Canada and I think Antwerp (850)

I just installed a 960 evaporator "Volvo" from the dealer, and if I recall correctly it was ID'd as made by bankrupt GM spinoff Delphi, in France. How Swedish is that? I installed a MB ML320 brake switch today, also Delphi.
