Lower Radio Position 200 1988

When radios were mounted in the lower bin they were supported on each side and locked in place by a machine screw through a slot in each side of the bin. The mounting plate (a metal plate/bracket attached to the radio front) had legs extending into the bin on each side with a receptacle for the mounting screws. The exterior trim piece for the radio face then mounted over the mounting plate. Some radios had/have a built in side mount receptacle for the screws.--Dave
